Nearby Attractions

Our facility is located in the foothills of the Sierra National Forest.  Here are a few ideas for area attractions:

Shaver Lake; about a 25 minute drive

Huntington Lake; about a 50 minute drive

McKinley (Sequoia) Grove; about a 45 minutes drive. McKinley Grove is a small, isolated giant sequoia grove located about 12 km (7.5 miles) southeast of Dinkey Creek. The grove hosts between 150 and 200 large trees.

Yosemite National Park; about one hour to the entrance and another hour to the bottom of the park.

Kings Canyon; about 1.5 hour drive. Kings Canyon National Park features terrain similar to Yosemite Valley, and is home to the largest remaining grove of sequoia trees in the world!

Forestiere Underground Gardens; about a 50 minute drive.

Old Town Clovis is a good town to walk through to visit local shops and restaurants.
