Teach your child the value of working with tools and riding a motorcycle!

Open to youth ages 8-18, this course will introduce them to how to ride a motorcycle and the valuable trade of learning how to use tools to maintain a motorcycle.

The curriculum is offered in many ways to accommodate your schedule. Choose from a two-day course, a weekly course, where we meet for a few hours once a week for 4-weeks, and as a 3-day Summer Camp (Note: the Summer Camp is for ages 8-14).

With the focus of motorcycling and mechanics, students will experience a variety of activities including:

How to safely ride a Yamaha TT-R dirt bike on our 13-acre off-road facility.
How to measure bolts with various measuring tools.
How to weigh various parts with a gram scale.
They will learn about proper torque settings and use all the metric tools required to install parts on a sample bike.
How to clean and lubricate a motorcycle so it will be ready to ride again the following day.
How to load and unload their motorcycle in the back of a pick-up truck.
They will have a hands-on experience as they assemble a Yamaha motorcycle.
How to use tools to build a fort (summer camp only).
Class size is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 students.

Course Types and Offerings:

Two-Day Course - $575.00 per person or $550.00 pp when you enroll with a friend. Course hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day. Open to ages 8-18.

September 14-15, 2024 (5 spots available)

4-week Advanced Course Course - For those who have previously attended a Rich Oliver's Mystery School Course. $575.00 per person or $550.00 pp when you enroll with a friend.

October 15-November 5, 2024 (8 spots available)
- First two weeks, we meet from 10 am - 12 pm to conduct advanced mechanical skills.
- On the third week, we meet from 9 am - 1 pm for flat track riding.
- On the fourth week, we meet from 9 am - 5 pm for off-road riding.
- Open to ages 8-18.

Summer Camps - $675.00 per person or $650.00 pp when you enroll with a friend. Two-day Summer Camps are open to ages 8-14. 2025 dates will be announced by the end of 2024.

Tuition includes your Yamaha TT-R training motorcycles, complete gear rental, lunch, drinks, snacks, and photos. There is no damage deposit.
