Build Confidence, Skills, and Real‑World Know‑How
Kids Mechanical Skills Camp is a hands-on technical training program for students ages 8–18 who want to understand how machines work. The course is offered in two formats:
- One-Day Intensive: A single 6‑hour in‑person mechanical session (3 hours in the morning, lunch break, 3 hours in the afternoon).
- Three-Week Series: Three 2‑hour in‑person mechanical sessions held once per week (total of 6 instructional hours).
Both formats focus exclusively on the fundamentals of motorcycle maintenance, tool handling, and mechanical problem‑solving. This program is strictly mechanical with no riding instruction. Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure individualized guidance and safe supervision.
Details:
- Three‑Week Program: 2 hours per week for three weeks (6 total instructional hours) or
- One‑Day Program: 6 hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a one‑hour lunch break
- Minimum of 4 students; Maximum of 10 students per session
- Small-group, in-person instruction
- Demonstration followed by supervised hands-on mechanical work
- Structured shop environment with clear safety protocols
All tools and mechanical supplies are included.

Students will:
· Learn to identify, measure, and select the correct tools for specific mechanical tasks
· Practice safe and accurate use of torque wrenches, metric tools, and measuring instruments
· Perform basic maintenance procedures such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting a Yamaha TT-R motorcycle
· Understand mechanical systems through guided disassembly and reassembly
· Strengthen real-world problem-solving skills, sequencing, and mechanical reasoning
